Boone County deputies name suspect in fatal hit-and-run

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. — The Boone County Sheriff’s Office has named a suspect in a hit-and-run case.

Paul “P.J.” Williams Jr., 33, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. Authorities filed charges against Williams on Thursday.

According to deputies, 34-year-old Larry A. Pauley from Jeffrey was struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in the Ottawa area. The driver fled the scene in the vehicle.

Anyone with information about William’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 304-369-9913.
