Boone County deputies name suspect in fatal hit-and-run

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. — The Boone County Sheriff’s Office has named a suspect in a hit-and-run case.

Paul “P.J.” Williams Jr., 33, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. Authorities filed charges against Williams on Thursday.

According to deputies, 34-year-old Larry A. Pauley from Jeffrey was struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in the Ottawa area. The driver fled the scene in the vehicle.
