Arrest made in Wheeling murder

WHEELING, W.Va. — A man’s been charged in the Friday afternoon in the death of a Wheeling woman.

Wheeling police arrested William Ross Carman, 35, of Wheeling, Friday night after he allegedly killed Anorah Charlene Schostag, 41, at a home in the Mozart community.

Police were called to the home at around 2 p.m. Friday. They discovered Schostag’s body and saw a man running out of the back of the house.

Carman was later arrested along Frazier Avenue. He was treated for injuries at Wheeling Hospital.

Carman is being held in the Northern Regional Jail without bail.
