Authorities continue search for Huntington robbery suspects

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Authorities are looking for suspects in the robbery of a Huntington credit union.

According to the Huntington Police Department, two men wearing masks entered the Star USA Federal Credit Union on 3rd Avenue Friday. The men, who were armed with handguns, demanded money from the bank teller. They also wielded their weapons at several people inside the building before leaving the scene.

The men left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money.

Huntington police arrested one person near the credit union following the robbery. The man, identified as 26-year-old Deandre’ Lemont Noble of Elyria, Ohio, ran from an officer after being approached.

Noble faces charges of being a fugitive from justice for a parole violation in Ohio, as well as fleeing, obstructing an officer and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Authorities are still reviewing evidence to determine if he was involved in the robbery.
