Lawmakers begin interim committee meetings at capitol

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — State lawmakers have three days of interim committee meetings scheduled at the state capitol beginning Sunday.

Twenty-eight meetings are set on various topics.

Topics up for discussion including updates on the state’s finances, the status of the West Virginia Turnpike and the future of tolls and the future of county boards of education.

Interim committee meetings are scheduled for Dec. 5-7.
