COVID cases don’t move much in Saturday report

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state Department of Health and Human Resources updated COVID-19 case numbers Saturday with the confirmation of 1,134 new cases.

The DHHR also reported 1,033 recovered cases during the past 24 hours.

Active cases increased slightly Saturday to 9,138. There were no new deaths reported as part of Saturday’s dashboard update.

The state listed hospitalizations at 600 with 208 patients being treated in ICU.
