Search continues for missing Cheat Lake area man

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office continues its search for a Cheat Lake man.

Bryn Hargreaves, 36, was first reported missing on Jan. 16. Family members last spoke to Hargreaves on Jan. 3.

Hargreaves is a native of the United Kingdom and a former professional rugby player.

Authorities described Hargraves as a white male with brown hair; 6-feet, 2-inches tall; and 220 pounds. He has a tattoo of a family crest on his right arm.

Deputies have searched the area around his last known address at the Whisper Creek Apartment complex with no success.
