Paychecks delayed for Morgantown city employees

MORGANTOWN – W.Va. – Employees for the city of Morgantown were notified Friday morning that their paychecks had not been issued as scheduled.

An e-mail that went out to all employees stating that there had been an issue with the transmission of the payroll.

The e-mail notifying employees for the city of Morgantown that their paychecks were not deposited on time.

 

City Communications Director Andrew Stacy told WAJR-AM in an e-mail that city staff had been working with United Bank to correct the issue and all employees should receive their pay before 5 p.m. on Friday.

Stacy did not specify the exact issue that prevented paychecks being transferred as scheduled.
