Kroger holding hiring event, looking to hire thousands

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Kroger Co.’s Mid-Atlantic Division will hold a hiring event Saturday as part of the company’s plans to hire 23,000 associates.

The grocery store’s Mid-Atlantic region includes locations in Virginia and West Virginia, as well as parts of Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio.

The company is offering full-time and part-time positions in multiple areas, including retail, manufacturing and distribution. Kroger does offer health care plans, retirement programs and competitive wages.

“Uplifting our associates and serving our communities are the top priorities for Kroger Mid-Atlantic, and we are eager to hire new associates who share in our purpose to feed the human spirit and promise to be fresh for everyone,” said Terry Reynolds, the region’s division assistant HR leader.

Kroger is offering in-person events at stores as well as virtual meetings.
