A horrible tragedy in Braxton County as two people drowned when a car entered the Elk River–and a volunteer firemen drowned trying to save them. Police in Huntington are investigating a shooting overnight which left one person wounded. Democratic Senator Joe Manchin has endorsed Republican Congressman David McKinley in his primary race against Congressman Alex Mooney. Brooke County Senator Ryan Weld believes the state needs to push back on proposed changes which threaten a cut in services at three V-A hospitals in West Virginia.
