Second arrest made in Mingo murder

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Mingo County authorities have made a second arrest in connection with the murder of a Delbarton woman.

Sheriff’s deputies said Alex Dewayne Likens, 36, of Ragland, has now been charged in the March 31 fatal shooting of Teresa Harmon.

Deputies previously charged Chase Prater, of Williamson, 27, in Harmon’s death. Harmon was his aunt.

Both Prater and Likens are charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are being held without bail in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
