State police search for missing Mingo County woman

KERMIT, W.Va. — State Police are looking for a missing woman in Mingo County.

Brittany Horn (Duff), 32, of Kermit, left a home on June 13 in the 1500 block of Jennings Creek Road in Kermit.

She left the home on foot, carrying a backpack, wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, according to a news release Sunday from State Police.

Troopers said the woman was seen at a home in the community of Louisa in Lawrence County, Kentucky.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Williamson detachment of the West Virginia State Police at (304)-235-6000.
