MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — According to a report from Pete Thamel of ESPN, WVU’s second-in-command in the athletic department will be leaving Morgantown for LSU. Thamel reported on Tuesday that WVU’s Chief Operating Officer/Deputy Athletics Director Keli Zinn will be accepting the role of executive deputy athletic director/COO at LSU.

Zinn has been an administrator at WVU since 2010. She has represented West Virginia as a Senior Woman Administrator on Big 12 Conference and NCAA Governance groups. Zinn served as interim Director of Athletics during the transition between Oliver Luck and Shane Lyons.
Zinn is a native of Petersburg and earned two degrees from West Virginia University. In 2020, Zinn was inducted into the WVU College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences’ Hall of Fame.
