Charleston man dies after crashing motorcycle in Boone County

JULIAN, W.Va. — A Charleston man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Boone County.

State Police said Terrence Poindexter, 39, was traveling along U.S. Route 119 in the Julian area at around 7:45 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.

Poindexter was taken to Boone Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

No one else was hurt.
