Two shot in Princeton incident

PRINCETON, W.Va. — State Police say two people are recovering from gunshot wounds after a large fight in the Princeton area Sunday evening.

The fight broke out at a home on Middlesex Avenue just outside the Princeton city limits around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Along with State Police law enforcement from all other agencies responded to the incident. When they arrived there were a number of people fighting and two had suffered gunshot wounds. They were both transported to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.

State Police say more information will be released as it becomes available and say this is a very active investigation.
