The state Senate today will take up a bill aimed at income tax reduction and the abortion legislation, both have cleared the House of Delegates this week. Senator Manchin defends his backing of a bill in the U.S. Senate which he claims is solid legislation to help with deficit reduction and other matters. Senator Shelley Moore Capito has joined other Republicans in opposition claiming it will only add to inflation with extreme federal spending. Neighboring Kentucky is hurting today from catastrophic floods, West Virginia has jumped in to help out. In Sports, the TBT moves to Dayton tonight and Best Virginia will be in action.
