Huntington shooting under investigation

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting near the Marshall University campus in Huntington.

According to police, one person was injured at around 10 p.m. near a Speedway gas station and student housing close to 6th Avenue and Hal Greer Boulevard.

Police said they recovered a gun at the scene.

The extent of the victim’s was not immediately released.
