Body pulled from Pocatalico River in Putnam County

POCA, W.Va. — An investigation is underway after a man’s body was pulled from the Pocatalico River in Putnam County Monday night.

Authorities said the recovery was made made near Poca at around 8 p.m. The Poca Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene.

The man appeared to be in his 70s, police said.
