Former WVU offensive lineman Josh Sills indicted on rape and kidnapping charges

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills has been indicted on rape and kidnapping charges stemming from an incident in December of 2019. Sills was a WVU offensive lineman from 2016-2019. He finished his college career at Oklahoma State.

Sills was issued a summons to appear at Guernsey County [Ohio] Common Pleas Court. He is scheduled to appear on February 16.

The indictment, filed on Tuesday, states that Sills “engaged in sexual activity that was not consensual and held a victim against her will.”

Sills made the roster of the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent. He appeared in one game this season.

Sills has been placed on the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt List, meaning he will not travel with the Eagles to the Super Bowl next week.
