Fairmont hotel damaged in fire

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A Wednesday afternoon fire damaged the Clarion Inn hotel in Fairmont.

The three-alarm blaze was reported at about 1:30 p.m. There were no injuries reported.

The Clarion Inn is located above the downtown Fairmont exit of Interstate 79 near the intersection with East Grafton Road.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
