Father, son arrested after school threat investigation in Harrison County

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — An 18-year-old has been charged with making terroristic threats to Robert C. Byrd High School via social media.

Authorities said members of the Harrison County Board of Education were able to quickly identify Ayden Jejdu as the suspect. Authorities found several threatening posts by Jedju, including one called “Death Machine,” posted to YouTube.

That information was forwarded to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and quickly search warrants were obtained for the Jedju residence.

The detective unit was able to recover evidence and arrest 18-year-old Jedju. His father, Shane Jedju, 44, was also arrested. Deputies said the elder Jedju came to the scene and obstructed officers.

Investigators said they also received a key tip in the case.
