One dead in Point Pleasant area crash

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — A man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 35 at the entrance to the Silver Memorial Bridge in Point Pleasant Tuesday afternoon.

Three vehicles, including two tractor trailers, were involved in the crash. The man who died was driving the passenger vehicle.

Investigators said one of the tractor trailers rear-ended the passenger vehicle that then hit the second tractor trailer.
