One person dead in Kanawha County fire

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. — One person was killed in a house fire Friday morning in Kanawha County.

The blaze was reported at around 11 a.m. along Coal River Road near the West Side Community near St. Albans.

There was no initial word on what may have started the blaze.

The state Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to investigate.
