Body found in Ohio River in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. — A man’s body was found in the Ohio River in Marshall County Wednesday.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office said the man was found stuck under a barge by workers at the Mitchell Power Plant.

The barge was one of 15 coming in from Charleston.

The body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office. The identity of the man is unknown at this time.
