Arrests made in larceny investigation at Logan Walmart

LOGAN, W.Va. — State police say they’ve arrested a pair of women for taking nearly $1,300 in items from the Logan Walmart.

Troopers said Alexandria Hatcher and Victoria Ford have been charged with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

According to investigators, Hatcher and Ford entered the Walmart on Oct. 30, grabbed a couple of plastic totes and then put several items into the totes. Troopers said the women then walked out of the store without paying.

Troopers said they learned Hatcher and Ford tried the same thing at a Walmart in South Williamson, Kentucky, and when that wasn’t successful they came to Logan.

Hatcher and Ford were arrested this past weekend and taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
