One dead in Morgantown shooting

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A murder investigation is underway in Morgantown.

Morgantown police said a man’s body was found in the middle of Brockway Avenue at around 3 a.m. Monday. He had been shot.

Police have identified the victim but haven’t released his name pending notification of family.

Detectives are looking for the shooter.
