Bond at $1 million for alleged family reunion shooter

PRINCETON, W.Va. — A $1 million cash only bond is set for the man charged with shooting four people at a family reunion Friday night in Princeton.

Christopher Wilborn (WVRJA)

Christopher Wilborn, 21, is charged with multiple counts of malicious wounding. It’s alleged he got into an argument at the family gathering taking place at the Days Inn. He allegedly began shooting at another man who was also armed. That man along with three others including a 5-year-old child were struck.

Police believe the second shooter was acting in self-defense.

Investigators said the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Wilborn, who turned himself in a few hours after the shooting, is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
