No injuries reported in outbuilding fire used to reload ammo

WHITE HALL, W.Va. — A fire that started in an outbuilding used to reload ammunition spread to a nearby residence Monday night in Marion County.

Fire crews were dispatched Casseday Court in White Hall at around 8:40 p.m. and found the outbuilding full of flames.

First responders were checking on the residents in a neighboring house and discovered it was also on fire.

Firefighters moved toward the home and isolated the source in the ceiling and began pulling down plaster to find the fire in the roof and trusses. The fire was brought under control by opening up the roof.

No injuries were reported.

There was no early word on what started the fire.

Marion County volunteer fire crews from Valley, Winfield, Boothsville and Monongah were on the scene.
