3 Guys Before The Game – Penn State Recap (Episode 571)

Painful.

That’s the only word you need to describe the Mountaineer season opener against No. 8 Penn State.

It was a game that required elite execution by WVU, but they failed to deliver.  As a result, the Mountaineers will open the season for the second consecutive year with a loss to the Nittany Lions.

The defeat drops WVU to 9-50-2 all-time against Penn State.  There are no future games scheduled between the two schools.

In this episode, the “Guys” dig into the numbers and explain why the Mountaineers performed poorly.

Listener comments and questions complete the show.
