Bluefield seeking help to locate vicious dogs on the loose

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — Mercer County animal control officers have reached out to the public to help locate a group of dangerous dogs.

The four animals are reported to have attached a woman out for a walk over the Labor Day weekend near the Ridgecrest Apartments in Bluefield, W.Va. They were last spotted around Labor Day.

According to a social media post, the dogs are a shepherd mix, a grey pit mix, and two brown pit or boxer mixes.

The city’s animal control is hoping people will check their security cameras for those areas on September 2nd and 3rd around 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Any sighting of the dogs is asked to be reported at 304-327 2401 ext. 2454.
