St. Louis teen arrested in connection with Morgantown High School threat

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — An 18-year old St. Louis, Missouri resident has been arrested and charged in connection with a threat on the Morgantown High School last month.

The investigation began Aug. 28 when the Morgantown Police Department learned of a social media post describing the threat of a shooting at Morgantown High School.

MPD detectives, FBI agents and Monongalia County Schools, identified and interviewed Nickolas Vadim Moore on the same day the threat was reported.

The investigation determined there was no eminent threat and the post was made from the St. Louis area and the weapons in the post were airsoft guns.

Moore was arrested on Sept. 20 by St. Louis County police for making threats of terroristic acts and brought to West Virginia last week,

He was arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court and released after posting a $30,000 bond.
