Wood County authorities identify victim in fatal Parkersburg crash

UPDATE: The victim of a Tuesday morning fatal wreck in Parkersburg has been identified.

Seth Young, 39, of Heath, Ohio, died in the four-vehicle accident that occurred on Emerson Avenue at around 7 a.m.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Young’s vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into the other three vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another driver has been hospitalized with severe injuries.

 

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — A four-vehicle wreck on Emerson Avenue in Parkersburg Tuesday morning claimed a life.

The crash occurred at around 7 a.m.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.

Police are continuing their investigation.
