Insurance issue temporarily closes Pratt VFD in Kanawha County

PRATT, W.Va. — The Pratt Volunteer Fire Department is currently closed.

The West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office shut the doors on Monday after a reported insurance issue.

Crews from East Bank and Montgomery will take emergency calls within Pratt’s area until it reopens.

Officials hope to fix the insurance problem on Tuesday.
