Quinerly finished her illustrious career with the Mountaineers third in scoring and steals in program history.
She finished her four seasons at WVU with 2,016 points and 328 steals and was Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year in both seasons she played for head coach Mark Kellogg.
Quinerly played for three head coaches at West Virginia, starting her career when Mike Carey held the job and playing her second season for Dawn Plitzuweit before Kellogg took over.
Quinerly is the only player in WVU history to have 2,000 points, 300 steals, 300 rebounds and 300 assists.
She becomes the Mountaineers’ 11th WNBA Draft selection and first since Kysre Gondrezick went fourth overall in 2021.
Quinerly, who was the second selection of the third round, is the sixth WVU player to come off the board in Round 3.
She finished her senior season with an average of 20.4 points and tied West Virginia’s single-game program mark with 38 in a February home win against Utah.
The Wings finished with the second-worst record of 12 WNBA teams in 2024 at 9-31. Dallas had the No. 1 pick in the draft and used it on Connecticut’s Paige Bueckers, who recently led the Huskies to a National Championship.
The WNBA Draft consists of three rounds and 38 picks. It was held at The Shed in New York City.
