Treysen Eaglestaff commits to WVU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Ross Hodge’s first recruiting class at WVU continues to fill up rapidly after an eighth verbal commitment in just over two weeks. Treysen Eaglestaff has committed to West Virginia after previously announcing his intention to play at South Carolina.

On3 reported Eaglestaff’s commitment Sunday evening.

Eaglestaff has played for three seasons at North Dakota. He has one season of eligibility remaining. Eaglestaff averaged 18.9 points per game in the 2024-2025 season. The 6-foot-6 guard has started every game for UND over the last two seasons.

St. Bonaventure transfer Chance Moore, Troy transfer Jackson Fields, Chattanooga transfer Honor Huff, North Texas transfer Brenen Lorient, UNC-Wilmington transfer Harlan Obioha, North Texas transfer Jasper Floyd and incoming freshman DJ Thomas have officially signed to be members of Hodge’s first recruiting class.
