Bluefield police release information on fatal crash

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — Police have released information involving a fatal accident from Friday on the city’s streets.

According to investigators the accident involved a motorcycle and two other vehicles. The man killed was identified as Landon Sayers, 20, of Bluefield, W.Va. He was operating the motorcycle involved in the wreck on Bluefield Avenue around 3 p.m. Friday.

Investigators say Sayers was travelling east and struck a vehicle making a turn into the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot. Nobody else was injured.
