Water truck rollover claims life in Monongalia County

FAIRVIEW, W.Va. — The driver of a water truck died Saturday evening when the truck overturned in western Monongalia County.

A Monongalia County Sheriff ‘s Department Facebook post said the wreck happened at the intersection of Crossroads Road and Klondike Road in Fairview.

“Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones affected by this tragic event,” the sheriff’s department said. “We are committed to conducting a thorough investigation.”

The name of the truck driver has not been released.
