Investigation underway after body found in Lumberport

LUMBERPORT, W.Va. – The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office confirms a body was found early Saturday morning in Lumberport.

The sheriff’s office indicated that the body of a man with a gunshot wound was found around 9am on Jack Run Road. The Lumberport Fire Department and Harrison Coutny EMS also responded to the scene.

The death is under investigation.
