CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The National Weather Service has most all of West Virginia under a wind advisory for Friday.

Meteorologists said winds from the southwest will be from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
The advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Friday.
The weather service also has the state’s highest elevations in Pocahontas and Randolph counties under a high wind warning Friday with wind gusts up to 60 mph expected.
