WHEELING, W.Va. — A Wheeling Middle School student is facing firearm charges after a gun was found in his locker.

Police said a school resource officer was notified by students and parents Friday afternoon that a student might have brought a gun to campus. The officer immediately began searching for the gun and authorities said within five minutes the weapon was located and the student responsible was taken into custody.

The student has been charged with possession of a firearm at a school. Police said the investigation continues.

    I mean,would it be fair to her to get shot dead and not have the right to at least shoot back? Bad thing is,its the kids parents that should be "in custody"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Guess Im going to have to start sending my kid to school with a gun,because of all the guns that are at school when she arrives.
