Woman who walked into I-64 traffic had argued with boyfriend

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A woman was arguing with her boyfriend just moments before she walked into traffic on Interstate 64 in Huntington, police said.

Investigators said Katrina Taylor, 36, and her boyfriend when in the backseat of a car at around 11:30 p.m. Friday near mile marker No. 9 on I-64. Taylor asked the driver to stop the car.

Police said she exited the car, walked into eastbound traffic and was struck and killed by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Huntington Police were continuing their investigation Saturday.
