Teenager pleads guilty in Weirton shooting death

WEIRTON, W.Va. —A Weirton teenager pleaded guilty Tuesday in connection with a September 2013 shooting death.

Adam Barnhart, 19, shot and killed Frank Tulock during a fight near Hudson and Orchard streets in Weirton. Prosecutors said Barnhart fired eight shots, four of them struck Tulock. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Barnhart pleaded guilty to second degree murder and wanton endangerment with a firearm. He was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
