Man arrested for pulling gun in parking lot

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Police say a Monongalia County man took an argument over a parking spot too far.

Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston said the incident happened Tuesday night on Ridgeway Ave in Morgantown when David Annonio, Jr., 19, began arguing with a another driver about a parking spot. The two cars were stopped in the middle of the street.

The woman told police at one point Annonio brandished a handgun pointing it at her 5-year-old and 14-year-old children who were in the car with her.

When police arrived on scene Annonio put the gun back in its holster and under his shirt.

Annonio is charged with brandishing a deadly weapon and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon.
