MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Class AAA No. 6 South Charleston defeated No. 3 University 24-20 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. South Charleston led 17-3 at the half, but saw that lead evaporate as University took the lead in the fourth quarter 20-17.

The Black Eagles then scored the game winning touchdown with under a minute to go. Complete game highlights are posted above.

Class AA/A singles: Charleston Catholic's Giatras, Chapmanville's Curnutte secure championships
Giatras went out on top after coming up just short one year ago. Curnutte continued her strong play throughout a weekend that saw her earlier help lead the Tigers to a team title.
