CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston police have taken in two suspects in a Charleston murder case following a car chase in Kanawha County.

Bobby Hall, 42, and Misty Rucker, 38, were wanted on murder charges connected to a shooting Tuesday evening on Garrison Avenue in downtown Charleston.

Hall allegedly shot and killed Timothy Jett, 55, of Charleston. Audrey Short, 38, is in critical condition at Charleston Area Medical Center.

According to Charleston police, Hall said he had plans to kill 10 to 12 officers.

The chase began around 8:20 p.m. in northern Kanawha County. Clendenin police officers laid spike strips along Route 4 in Queen Shoals.

Hall and Rucker were arrested on Valley View Drive near Clendenin after 8:30 p.m.
