Body discovered near Boone County school

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police responded Wednesday to the call of a discovered body near a Boone County elementary school.

According to authorities, the body of Tyler Mann Ball, 20, of Costa, was found in a wooded area along state Route 1 near Ashford Rumble Elementary School. They said they believe his body had been there for a few days.

The state Medical Examiner’s Office will next perform an autopsy.
