Neild Tears ACL, Out For Season

Former Mountaineer defensive tackle Chris Neild will miss the entire season for the Washington Redskins. On Tuesday, an MRI revealed he tore his ACL and will need season ending surgery.

Neild sustained the injury during Monday’s practice. He is the primary backup to starting nose tackle Barry Cofield.

Last season, Neild played in every game for the Redskins and recorded ten tackles and two sacks.
