An investigation is underway into a fatal shooting in Logan County.
Police say Venus Parton, 39, told investigators her ex-boyfriend broke into her home near Man on Sunday morning and she shot and killed him.
Police found the body of George Bowen, 35, inside Parton’s home. So far no charges have been filed. But investigators are trying to determine if Parton fired in self-defense.
Investigators say the on-again, off-again couple had a stormy history, including allegations of domestic violence.
