One dead in Lincoln County fire

HAMLIN, W.Va. — One man is dead after an early morning fire in Lincoln County.   Authorities say the blaze broke out in a mobile home along Coon Creek about 3:30 a.m.

Firemen battled the flames which included two oxygen tanks exploding during the fire.  The body of an elderly man was found inside in his bedroom after the fire was out.

There’s no word on the identity of the man.

The state Fire Marshal is on the scene working to determine a cause for the fire.
