1 dead in Mason County wreck

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. — A fiery crash in Mason County has claimed the life of a Kanawha County man.

Jacob Matthew Hill, 29, of Charleston, was killed on Wednesday afternoon when his vehicle crashed into a tree in the Leon area, according to deputies with the Mason County Sheriff’s Department.

WSAZ Television was reporting bystanders attempted to help Hill and pulled him from his burning vehicle.
