Deputies seek car theft suspect in Kanawha County

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. — Kanawha County Deputies are hoping for the public’s help to identify the culprit who stole a car from St. Albans earlier this week.   The vehicle, a 2006 Ford Mustang, is silver and had West Virginia plates 9YB-917.

Deputies say the wallet of the owner was in the car when it was taken.  Now, credit cards from that wallet have been used at several stores in the Quincy and Belle areas of Kanawha County by the same suspect.

Deputies have captured a surveillance image of the suspect who used the credit cards and hope the public will recognize them.
